The City of Canton only has one planned marathon this year and it's being called the Hall of Fame City Marathon. The race has been moved from it's orginal June weekend to a date in September.

The city of North Canton, Ohio was finally repaid for services rendered during the 2012 Canton Marathon. An administrator announced that the city had no plans to participate in the 2013 event as it had yet to be paid.
