The sixteenth running of the Dead Sea Marathon showed strong finishes from Jordanian runners. Suleiman Zboun captured the overall title with a new course record of 2 hours 11 minutes and 14 seconds. Jordan's Kholoud Atieh took home top honors for the women's field with a time of 2 hours 51 minutes and 39 seconds.

The sixteenth running of the Dead Sea Marathon is set for April tenth with nearly thirty-five hundred registered runners set to compete in one of five events ranging from the 50K down to the junior marathon of 4.2K.
