Tough Beauty with a Shamrock of a Finish

A must do marathon. Runner friendly organization. Easy to manage logistics when I traveled from the USA. Same day race number pick up a plus. The race organizer gets 'the big picture' of catering to runner's needs. I saved some money by staying in Killarney yet I still was able to arrive well before the start. The course was crazy beautiful. We had a downpour for mile 1-10 but hey, its Ireland. Rolling hills so be trained. The last 10 miles had a cool view of Mt Brandon as the course routed beneath it. (I even hiked it the next day!) The town of Dingle is truly a prize with fun pubs and pints after the finish. Add this race to your international list for sure.
