On Sunday January 13, 2008 thousands of runners will set off from the Epcot center of famed Walt Disney World in an attempt to complete the 26.2 mile marathon distance. This year marks the 15th year of the race and special park passes to Pleasure Island will be passed out to all competitors completing the 1/2 or full marathon.

SK2(SS) Donald Allison competed in the Walt Disney World Marathon and ran the course, which takes runners on a journey through the four Disney parks, in a time of 4 :23:43 placing him in the upper half of the 11,000-person race.
