Kevin Brinegar of Fairbanks ran to his second consecutive Equinox Marathon victory, taking advantage of clear, cool weather and relatively fast course conditions Saturday in Fairbanks. Brinegar won with a time of 2 hours, 56 minutes, 52 seconds. The women's winner was Jane LeBlond, also of Fairbanks. She finished in 3:21:43, just 22 seconds off the course record. Kristen Bartecchi took second place (3:30:34).
