Harold Aas won the 46th annual Equinox Marathon in 2 hours, 50 minutes, 12 seconds. The out-and-back course from the University of Alaska Fairbanks’ Patty Center to the top of Ester Dome was Aas debut marathon last year. He led through the 17 mile mark and began to fade in the hills. This year he knew the course and ran to an impressive victory with the 16th fastest time in course history.
