Its been 10 years since the tragic events in Mayerthorpe and on Sunday hundreds ran a marathon to remember the men who lost their lives.

It was a special way to mark 10 years since the darkest day in RCMP history, when constables Anthony Gordon, Lionide Johnston, Brock Myrol and Peter Schiemann were gunned down on March 3, 2005, by James Roszko at his farm outside of Mayerthorpe. Roszko afterwards turned his gun on himself.
