Warm reception at Fallen 4 relay and marathon

The First Annual Fallen 4 Marathon and Relay greeted participant with cool weather and rain. Race organizers felt the rain was fairly symbolic of the tear shed for family members who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

First Fallen 4 Marathon draws hundreds despite the rain

Thomas McGrath cried as he crossed the line at the first Fallen 4 Marathon with a time of 2 hours 50 minutes and 58 seconds. McGrath stated that his achilles tendon nagged him while enduring some of the larger climbs on the course
