Russian wins Five Points of Life Marathon

27-year-old Russian Denis Zhalybin moved to Gainesville two months ago. Originally from southern Russia, Zhalybin moved to the U.S. to run marathons. His plan seems to have worked well as he cruised to the victory in just over two hours easily besting Brett Howell of Gainesville who ran the 26.2 mile race in two hours thirty-six minutes and fifty-seven seconds.
