GO! St. Louis, a local non-profit organization that specializes in providing fitness events and programs for the region on a year-round basis, announced today that the GO! for a Cause charity program helped 27 area charities raise $367,342 for their causes as part of the 13th Annual GO! St. Louis Marathon & Family Fitness Weekend.

Aaron Braun, 25, from Flagstaff, AZ set a new GO! St. Louis Half Marathon record, with a time of 1:03:13. Braun, was closely followed by Jordan Chipangama, 24, from Flagstaff, AZ with a 1:03:22. Josphat Boit, Little Rock, AR, finished third, while posting a time of 1:03:52.

The downtown St. Louis Marathon will be swarming with over twenty-five thousand runners on Sunday morning. Runners will be heading from the downtown area to the Gateway Arch.
