Kevin and Garick Hill, brothers originally from South Africa and now residing in Winston-Salem, won the Grandfather Mountain Marathon last Saturday, July 10. The brothers successfully planned to finish together and used the marathon to train for their next challenge, the Chicago Marathon, which they will also run together. Kelcey Lawson placed second in this, his fifth marathon, and Amy Fowler took third, after running the Boston Marathon earlier this year.
