Many workers from the area surrounding the Great Ocean Road Marathon will tackle the grueling events which are comprised of a 6.5 K and 14 K race on Saturday and the 23 K and 45 K race on Sunday.

With an African dominated race, Scott Rantall is striving to become the first Geelong athlete to take a podium spot in the Great Ocean Road Marathon. Rantall has won the last four Geelong half-marathon races. This year's marathon will be his first attempt at the premier road racing event.
