Fighting hunger one step at a time

With the number of hungry individuals growing in the area, local pastor, Rev. Steve Shuster, pastor of First United Methodist Church, has decided to run the 2008 Seneca Creek Greenway Trail Marathon to increase awareness of this issue and raise funds for a local organization that assists these residents in need. The funds he has collected, so far, will go toward the Help and Hope Ministries' food closet. So far he has received about $8,000 from his congregation and the community.
