Rick Patterson edged into victory in his hometown Jacksonville Marathon on Saturday, beating by a half-step the course record holder. Patterson won in 2:37:35. Kim Donaldson, 40, of St. Petersburg took the women's fileld in 3:01:19, just off her goal of breaking three hours. The race 2,200 runners in the marathon and half-marathon.
