Dartmouth’s Ray Moorehead edged six-time champion David MacLennan of Scotsburn by 10 seconds Sunday to win the 33rd Johnny Miles Marathon in New Glasgow with a time of 2:41:21. Sydney’s Karen Macdonald led the women with a time of 3 hours, 33 minutes and 39 seconds. Heather Hayes was second in 3 hours, 40 minutes and 43 seconds. Halifax’s Claire Barber was third in 3:42.06.

Roy Moorehead edged out Dave MacLennan to win the Johnny Miles Marathon with a ten second lead in 2:41.21. Karen MacDonald won the women's race in 3:33.39.
