The 4th annual Mississippi Blues Marathon will take place on Saturday, January 8, 2011, followed by the 10th annual BankTrust First Light Marathon on Sunday, January 9, 2011. Interested runners are encouraged to participate in both events and will receive a 20 percent discount on entry fees, as well as special recognition and awards.

Anna Hallex won the women's division of the First Light Marathon with a time of 3 hours 10 minutes and 21 seconds. Josh Whitehead won the overall title with a time of 2 hours 37 minutes and 5 seconds.

Josh Whitehead of Madison Alabama won the First Light Marathon with a time of 2 hours 37 minutes and 5 seconds. Ana Hallex won the women's title with a time of 3 hours 20 minutes and 21 seconds.

Sam Felsenfeld is running the First Light Marathon on Sunday making it the third marathon of the year. Sam is hoping to complete 60 marathons this year to raise money for Train 4 Autism.
