Larry Macon is hoping to run ninety-four or ninety-five marathons this year. The four time Marathon Maniac of the year holds the world record for having run the most marathons in one year.

Runners in the 2009 Museum of Aviation marathon took off in sub-30 degree temperatures. Nearly half of the runners came from outside of Georgia and is a Boston Qualifying course.
