Rock 'n' Roll Marathon's top female finisher wins in return to race after 4-year hiatus

Meggan Franks won the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon in 2012 and ran it again for the first time Sunday. Franks had similar results as she was again the top finisher at the race.

Neely Spence Gracey Wins Humana Rock n' Roll New Orleans Half Marathon

Poland's Emil Dobrowolski won men's half; Michigan's Geoff Burns and Canada's Meggan Franks win marathon distance. 7th annual event attracted 23,000 entrants from all 50 states and 32 countries; $1.6 million was raised by runners for charity through the event.

Neely Speece Gravey Ready to Rock 'n' Roll in New Orleans on Sunday

Neely Spence Gracey boasts the fastest half marathon time of the professional women entered in Sunday's Humana Rock 'n' Roll New Orleans Marathon & Half Marathon. Spence Gracey, 25, set her personal record of 1 hour, 9 minutes, 59 seconds while winning the Rock 'n' Roll Philadelphia Half Marathon on Oct. 31.At the time she was focused on making her marathon debut at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials on Feb. 14, but she suffered a foot injury and on Jan. 1 made the difficult decision to pass on the Trials.
