John Ouweleen ran an impressive 3 hours, 27 minutes and 50 seconds on his way to an age group marathon win in the 65-69 age group category of the Marathon of the Palm Beaches. He ran his first marathon in 2006.

Downtown West Palm Beach was packed with runners and a special group of military veterans from the Achilles Freedom Team. The veterans escorted children completing their marathon mile.
