Pocono Community Church's $10,000 donation to the 2011 Run for the Red has nothing to do with the marathon changing it's course.

The Pocono Community Church which, until this year, was along the Pocono Mountain Run For The Red Marathon donated ten-thousand dollars to the Red Cross. Might this have been the impetus for the course change.

The Annual Run for the Red Marathon route will change it's route this year to avoid closing major intersections and hoping to avoid a head wind.
