More than 3,000 runners on Sundaywill tackle new 26.2- and 13.1-mile courses that hug the Genesee River, traverse the river gorge, wind through Rochester and Irondequoit and end by Frontier Field.

No longer will Rochester marathoners have to spend 14 straight miles on the Erie Canal. Instead, runners will head north on 26.2- and 13.1-mile courses that crisscross the Genesee River, passing waterfalls, gorges and nearby neighborhoods in northern Rochester.
