Rock n Roll Denver Marathon Celebrates 10 Years

Denver marks the 10th year of having a fall marathon in the city, especially since this will be the last year for the marathon distance at the Rock n Roll Denver Marathon. Race organizers plan to abandon the marathon course next year, and focus their efforts on the half-marathon, the 10K, the 5K, and the relay races.

Denver Rock 'N' Roll Marathon no longer starts in Denver

"The City and County of Denver and the Competitor Group have been working together for over six months to finalize the 2015 Rock 'n' Roll Marathon route," said Grace Ramirez with Denver's Office of Special Events. "The route was finalized to mitigate the numerous impacts of previous routes on Denver's residents, businesses, churches and neighborhoods."
