28th-annual Steamboat Marathon as popular as ever

Nearly seventeen-hundred runners will flail down Routt County Road 129 into Steamboat Springs Colorado on Sunday as the vie for the title in the twenty-eighth annual Steamboat Marathon. Races start at 7:30 AM.

Local runner gearing down for Sunday’s Steamboat Marathon

Allen Belshaw is one of the most accomplished ultra-runners in the Steamboat Springs area. The forty-two year old finishes regularly on the podium of ultra races. Sunday will mark a milestone for Belshaw. He will complete his first marathon.
