The thirtieth annual Royal Victoria Marathon kicked off on Menzies Street and Kenyan native Hillary Cheruiyot crossed the line first with a time of 2 hours 19 minutes and 26 seconds.

Hillary Cheruiyot dominated the Royal Victoria Marathon on Sunday with a time of 2 hours 19 minuts and 26 seconds. Cheryl Murphy of Victoria won the women's race with a time of 2 hours 44 minutes and 1 second.
