About twelve-hundred runners ran the fourth annual Windermere Marathon. James Buis won the race with a time of 2 hours 33 minutes.

Adam Holland smashed the world record for running the fastest ten marathon in ten days with a time of thirty-hours and 18 minutes. James Buis won the individual Windermere marathon title with a time of 2 hours 33 minutes and 19 seconds.
