Great low key marathon

I was surprised at how small this race was, considering the beauty and ease of it. Great communication from race directors, easy to walk to start, lots of water stations, and beautiful scenery on the bike bath along the river. This was an out and back this year because of road construction, but besides one area of gravel it was mostly a paved walkway. There were some hills to break it up along the way, but generally flat. Lots of shade and solitude! There weren't many spectators, but when there are only 150 marathoners you wouldn't expect many signs. If you like small races without all the hoopla this one is for you.
