Familiar Feeling At Canyon Marathon

For the first time in the race's seven-year history, the Canyon Marathon had a lead pack for more than half the race, with Santos running stride-for-stride with Rick Becker of Selah and Shaun Endsley, an Ironman triathlete.

Defending champion Manuh Santos of Yakima, masters cross country world champ Rick Becker of Selah and 2005 Canyon Marathon runner-up Cliff Richards of Maple Valley are all very capable of running in the two-hour, 45-minute range, or perhaps even faster.
