Dan Archambeau was like many other first time marathon runners. He finished one and at that moment would not think of doing another. The ninth annual Yakima River Canyon Marathon, held on Saturday, will be Dan's 200th marathon.

The main route through the Yakima River Canyon, State Route 821, will be closed for much of Saturday for the ninth annual Yakima River Canyon Marathon. Canyon access will be limited to race officials and locals with permits.
