COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 This is the 6th marathon I've run, and the 2nd time I've tried to qualify for Boston. It was such a beautiful course, the volunteers were absolutely phenomenal, and the weather was so perfect that missing my qualifying time by 2 mins wasn't devastating. I had a great time & will definitely run this marathon again!

"My second half marathon and LOVED it!" (about: 2013)

COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 Loved the course! LOVED the volunteers! Very impressed by their attendance and help! Wish there had been more port-a-potties at mile 6...there was a line for that one. Loved the community out playing for us! Bag pick up after race was amazingly smooth! Great refreshments/snacks after as well! The shirts were great! It's always hard to decide what size to get..sometimes the shirts run too small. Great medals too!

"Well organized on a beautiful course" (about: 2013)

COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 3 My first marathon, and I could not have picked a better course. Last year I did the half, so I knew what to expect. There were less spectators than last year - possibly due to the chilly weather.

"great event! more traffic control needed." (about: 2013)
11-50 previous marathons
| 1 Huntsville Utah Marathon
COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 3 Great starting area, and very good traffic control until mile 18 when traffic was allowed to become two-way, which forced runners onto the shoulder off the paved road. It was actually dangerous at a couple of points in the race, and we had to stop or slow down to avoid traffic. I was a five-hour finisher, so faster runners probably did not have this problem. Great aid stations and finish line area!

"My new favorite marathon!" (about: 2013)
6-10 previous marathons
| 1 Huntsville Utah Marathon
COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 This race has everything. The course is fast and downhill, the scenery is absolutely amazing, the organization is professional and well done, and the volunteers are second to none. I have done a number of Utah marathons but this has been by far my favorite. As long as you get some good downhill training in, this will be a PR for you...guaranteed!

"One of my favorites" (about: 2013)
4-5 previous marathons
COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 I was so impressed with this race. It was organized and well run. The aid stations were fantastic, with a great variety of 'aid.' The course was pretty. The finish line was organized and not crowded like others I've done. I liked how the drop bags were organized and how there were volunteers retrieving them so that it wasn't a big free for all mess. I thought the kids run was great well thought out, safe, and organized. My boy talked about it all day long. I'll run this again! |
