First Marathons: Ali Mazhin

I trained with AIDS Marathon training program for 10 weeks. I found out about it from a local donut shop where I responded to a flyer. I trained in Griffith park with many others.

The training was filled with many supportive people. There was food at the end too. The race was one where I flew to San Francisco with my dad. We ate lobster and had fun. I ran the race in 7 hours.

We stayed at a local hotel and met others runners. The race was excellent and I felt fine. After the finish we left and had breakfast. I continue to run marathons and I'm at over 100 finished so far.
