The Hogeye Marathon will return to Springdale, Arkansas, on April 11 and 12, 2026, marking a historic milestone – its 50th anniversary. First held in 1977, the Hogeye is Arkansas’ oldest continuously running marathon and remains one of the region’s most beloved community races.

Course Description

The full marathon begins on Emma Avenue in downtown Springdale and winds through Springdale Johnson and Fayetteville where pWhile the terrain is classified as rolling with about 250 meters (820 ft) of total elevation gain it delivers variety not monotony. Runners will enjoy a course that mixes quiet tree-lined segments city streets and the natural beauty of Northwest Arkansas. The finish returns to Springdale’s downtown district creating a celebratory atmosphere in the heart of the community.

More Than Just Miles

What sets the Hogeye Marathon apart is its commitment to giving back. Since its earliest years the event has supported Northwest Arkansas charities through its proceeds and this year the tradition continues.
