In other races, Frank Matte of Birmingham, Alabama, won theĀ Big Beach MarathonĀ in 2:31:57, building on his top Alabama finish at the 2024 New York City Marathon. Alexandra Cassar of Omaha, Nebraska, won the womenās race in 3:11:58, continuing her success in Gulf Coast events.
At theĀ Red Rock Canyon Marathon, Andrew Deakin of Mount Tabor, New Jersey, finished first in 3:03:41, while Olivia Grove of Columbia, Maryland, leveraged her collegiate running background to win the womenās race in 3:44:11.
At theĀ Sun Marathon, 21-year-old Davis Alcorn of Highland, Utah, won in 2:41:51, transitioning impressively from track to marathon running. Lindsey Will of Liberty Lake, Washington, claimed the womenās title in 3:13:39, strengthening her reputation in the Spokane running community.
