MARATHON AND RACE DIRECTOR PART WAYS

Green Bay, Wis., -- The Green Bay Marathon, Inc. board of directors
announced today that Executive Director, Gloria West, has resigned. West
has provided leadership to the event since its inception in 2000 and now
wishes to concentrate on her own sports management company.

"We are grateful to Gloria for bringing this extraordinary event to Green
Bay and are know that our relationship with her will carry on to future
marathons," said Jeff Mirkes, Green Bay Marathon, Inc. board of directors
president.

Operations Director, Jeanette Newhouse, will serve as interim director
while a regional search is conducted for West's replacement.

May 23rd, 2004 marks the fifth anniversary of Green Bay's only long
distance run. Over the past four years the race has generated more than
$80,000 in proceeds for local charities. The Cellcom Green Bay Marathon
seeks to create community spirit through a world-class marathon for people
of all athletic abilities.
