The Marathon will start at 7:30 a.m. Sunday, May 4, 2025, at Bold Point Park, East Providence, RI. The Half Marathon will start at 8:00 a.m. from the same location. &nbsp;The 5k will follow at 8:15 am - all from the same cityside start.&nbsp;
The marathon course is USATF certified and is a Boston Marathon Qualifier.
Please Note: Providence Rhode Races will be happening rain or shine. Because of the logistics of planning for a race of this size, we cannot offer refunds for any reason. In the event that weather is severe enough to create an unsafe environment for participants, organizers will cancel the event with no refunds issued. &nbsp;

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
There are no age restrictions but you must show your ID when picking up your bib.
Can I defer or transfer my race registration?
Yes - you can transfer your bib, transfer your race entry to select other races in our portfolio within one year or defer your entry to next year's race. Where and when is packet pick up?

How do I add on RACE DAY BIB PICK-UP?
In order to encourage more people to pick up in advance of race day, we are charging a nominal fee for race day bib pick-up. &nbsp;This is to ensure we plan for the correct amount of participants planning on picking up on race morning, &nbsp;limit the number of people picking up on race morning to ensure we can get everyone checked in quickly, and to offset any costs associated with picking up early. &nbsp;We apologize for this inconvenience but our hope is to ensure a smooth race day for all of our participants with proper planning.
To add on Race Day bib pick up after you have registered: Sign In to RunSignUp Go to your Profile Click My Registered Races Click Manage next to the registration that you are editing Click Add-On menu item Edit the quantity of the Add-On that you would like Click Continue
Is there a discount for groups or teams?
YES! &nbsp;Individuals can refer 3 friends using their unique referral code and receive $15 back - or - for larger groups of 10 or more, each member of the group will receive $5 to $15 in refunds, depending on the size of the group! &nbsp;Sign up on the same team for the refund to be automatically applied when thresholds are reached.
