"Small, good race with forgettable course" (about: 2018)

COURSE: 3 ORGANIZATION: 4 FANS: 1

This marathon disappointed because it doesn't actually include running through the actual Futuroscope park. The course zigzags through Poitiers in the beginning before taking side roads towards Futuroscope. The finish line was almost a kilometer away from the entrance to the park. In addition, there were practically no supporters along the route. That being said, the organisation was good. The refreshment stands were well stocked and positioned along the course. The expo was quite small due to the small number of racers, but this did not present a problem. I'd recommend this marathon if you happen to be traveling to Futuroscope, but just don't expect to run through the park at any point.
