Timberline Marathon

Like many of the comments from last year a very runnable course. I do wish I would have wore gators to keep the debris out of my shoes. The aid stations were well stocked with fluids and cups - since I didn't need more than what I could drink at the stations I ditched the cheap water bottle I brought. The campers along the course were very supportive but it is a trail run so not alot folks along the course. I recommend staying at Mazama Lodge to round out the trail run experence - great place, wonderful price and close to race (kinda like camping indoors).

Great trail race on a very runnable trail with a few hills, rocks, and puddles to keep it interesting. My only negative is that there wasn't time to stop and take in the stunning scenery.

What a beautiful course, despite not getting to start at the Timberline Lodge this year. The spectators are few, but the course ran through several campsites and the campers were some of the most enthusiastic I've ever seen. This race is not for whiny wimps, as aid stations are few, but this is one of the most fun I've done. I highly recommend it!
