Are you ready to go the extra mile? Mark your calendar for Saturday, April 12, and experience the excitement of the Highlands College Birmingham Marathon at Black Creek Park in Fultondale, AL. 
 
The Highlands College Birmingham Marathon is a community event for the whole family! Runners from every walk of life are invited to run this challenging and fun race on a shaded, refreshing wooded trail on the Five Mile Creek Greenway, just outside of Birmingham, AL.  
 
The Course 
Beautiful trees and a creek take runners along a memorable route on one of Alabama’s historic Rails to Trails courses. The course includes stunning natural beauty as the course winds through shaded, wooded trails on the Five Mile Creek Greenway. 
 
More Than a Race—It’s a Celebration! 
Join us afterward for a complimentary meal, an invigorating cold plunge, and a bounce house for the kids. We invite you to bring the whole family to celebrate with activities and fun for everyone.  
 
Race Opportunities: 

• Marathon (26.2): Conquer an unforgettable distance in a supportive and inspiring atmosphere. 
• Half Marathon (13.1 Miles): Push through Fultondale into Gardendale and Brookside on a mostly flat, picturesque route. 
• 10K (6.2 Miles): Race an out-and-back course through the heart of Fultondale. 
• Family Fun Run: Enjoy a one-mile run/walk.
