P.A.C.E. Marathon and Half Marathon

Warren County Parks and Recreation is hosting the 2nd Annual P.A.C.E. Marathon and Half Marathon in 2025! PACE stands for Parks and Community Events, and the goal of this race is to have people experience the beauty of Smiths Grove and Oakland. The community aspect of PACE is all around this race. Community members donate, volunteer, decorate, and celebrate the runners all weekend long. All marathon and half marathon participants will receive a shirt, and marathon and half marathon finishers will receive a unique medal that features these two communities.

IMPORTANT! The half marathon will follow the marathon for the first 9.5 miles, then will go a different way. The Half Marathon will be entirely in Smiths Grove. 

Early packet pick-up for marathon and half marathon will be available Friday, May 9th from 6:00-9:00pm at Ed Spear Park. Please join us in a community block party that will be at the park from 5p-9p. There will be games, live music, food trucks, and more!

Please arrive to check in and pick-up your bib and t-shirt no later than 6:30am. BOTH races will begin at 7:00am. This race will begin and end at Ed Spear Park. Over 90% of the route is paved, the remaining 10% is gravel. There is moderate hills on this course! 

Marathon is $75 and Half Marathon is $50
