Great experience
This was my first 42, and I was expecting it to be a tough and a difficult experiece. As it turned out, it was even harder than I had expected, but I hung in there to finish in just over 4 hours. The course was fantastic and the organizers great. See you next year!!

Good weekend and great course
2004 was the first time I ran the full marathon and came in last in just over 5 hours. I was pipped at about 200 meters from the end by a gentleman named Lyle who stayed behind me from about 26km and then in a burst of speed ripped past me just before entering the oval.
I have done the half a number of times now but injuries have constantly stopped me doing the 42 and nearly did in 2004 as well.
I will be doing the half again this year (2005) as I can't get my head around training for the big one.
I recommend this for a nice friendly half marathon but too few entrants in the marathon to get to chat with a variety of runners.

Amazing course! Easy on the mind!
I really love the course of this marathon. I did my first ultra here, and it was a lovely thing to experience.
