Race Details

The course of the Limassol Marathon GSO is of a low degree of difficulty. It is essentially a flat race with its unique characteristic being the long straight lines, and the greatest part of the marathon taking place along the coastal road of greater Limassol, with great sea views. A very fast and straight course, ideal for runners of all abilities to achieve Personal Best times. The Start of the Race is on the seafront of the Limassol city, Molos area (the promenade) at 09.00 hrs on 20th February 2011.

Timing

The full marathon must begin 2 hours before the 10K and 5k. The same the half marathon must begin one hour before the 10 and 5k The reason is that when all events begin together by the time the marathon and half marathon athletes finish nobody is there to see them !!!!
