Marathon Details - Pocono Mountains Marathon Race Festival

This is a certified Boston Qualifier race. Promised Land State Park is on the Pocono Plateau. The park consists primarily of beech, oak, maple, and hemlock trees. Two lakes and several small streams add to the park's outstanding scenic beauty. Fall is the best time to visit the Poconos. The lush forests will be in full glory with all the vibrant colors of their fall leaves. Both courses will be run on park roads with a paved surface and views of the lake and fall colors with minimal hills.
