Not very well organized and not so scenic but fast

'Expo' was more of a glorified packet pickup, poor signage (so many claims of port-o-potties that didn't appear), not enough on-course marshals (had to point a few people back to the half finish line, for example), and no water stops after mile 20. Course was OK but skimped on the NYC / water views (instead we ran by the highway) and roads were in very rough shape (patches, potholes, ...).

Decent race but could be improved

The expo was more of a packet pick up than a true expo - expected something bigger for a race this size. The course was well supported with electrolyte drink, water, and gels. However, there was literally no food at the finish line. The course was touted as scenic and flat - it was definitely flat but not very scenic. It's mostly urban and industrial. There were a good amount of spectators despite the rain.

Course not accurate

I ran the full marathon on April 23, 2023. From mile 3 to the End of the race, my gps watch showed I was 0.3 miles off. At the finish line my watch showed I had ran 27miles instead of 26.2 miles. Who certified this course? Secondly, poor planning with the after race music refreshments food located by the waters instead of being located by bag check area of 200meters from finish line. Few runners could get to the water. I will come back if the course is USATF certified.
