A spring marathon worth training through a North Dakota winter!
This race was DELIGHTFUL and I am ready to sign up for next year. 🙂 It was my first spring marathon since 2018 (North Dakota winters are brutal for training!) but I'll do it again for this!
The high school start was such a nice cozy place to prep, the course volunteers were amazing at manning intersections, water stops were enthusiastic, and the crowd support was out of proportion enthusiasm compared to what I would have guesed for the size of the race! I appreciated same day packet pick up so we could drive day of race. The free photos are great. The course maps were helpful and my husband was able to catch me and cheer for me and those around me at 6 different locations! Love the T shirt and medal!

Great course
A wonderful experience. Course is mostly flat with only two areas that are slightly uphill. Only negative which is expected is that opportunities for portapotty usage on the course was difficult due to only one being available at the various spots. With the number of participants and being a small race, this makes sense logistically. Organizers and volunteers are great and it's easy for my family who were spectating to drive along to different spots to cheer!

Great marathon experience!
Great course, atmosphere, aide stations, and post race food options. Community is great. Definitely recommend.
