Erica Larson won the women's division of the Leadville Trail Marathon in 4:00:27, beating the course record she set in 2003 by more than three minutes. Paul Koch who was originally planning to use the Leadville Trail Marathon as part of his training for the Pikes Peak Marathon got caught up in the competition and was the overall winner, finishing in 3:44:46.
