Hamilton's Shingirai Badza won the inaugural Mississauga Marathon yesterday in a time of 2:24:37. Mississauga's Martie Dunning was the top female, with a time of 3:02:28.

The inaugural Mississauga Marathon will be run next Sunday, May 16, and there are enough events scheduled to accommodate all levels of ability -- from the two-kilometre family fun run/walk all the way up to the big one -- 26 miles, 385 yards (or 41.92 kilometres Canadian).
