Stephen Muzhingi, three-time Comrades Marathon champion, has won the Two Oceans Marathon with a time of 3 hours 8 minutes for the 56 kilometer race.

Zimbabwe's Stephen Muzhingi bounced back from a disappointing NYC Marathon to win the 43rd Two Oceans Marathon in 3:08:00; while Russian Elena Nurgalieva took the women's race in 3:41:55, in the 56 kilometer race.
