A caring race director who wants everyone to enjoy the beauty of the countryside in Valentine, NE.

Valentine Marathon Review Looking for a marathon in Nebraska…check out Valentine. Whether you are collecting states or looking to support a community-based race Valentine checks off all the boxes. My husband & I participated in the inaugural 2025 race on August 2nd. The course is flat & fast on the Cowboy Trail. Mark Gudget, the R.D. put his heart and soul into making sure everyone enjoyed the miles. It’s a family friendly race. Distances are from 5K to 50K. The volunteers were great, cheering on the runners. Hooray for the wonderful pacers. They were very engaging. Pacers give of themselves to make sure their runners cross the finish line with big smiles It’s a green race, Mark provided runners with a reusable/ survivor cup. It’s a feel- good event. The proceeds to go the high school scholarship fund. You will finish feeling good about making new friends in Valentine
