Tadese Tola won the Warsaw Marathon with a time of 2 hours 6 minutes and 54 seconds for the fastest marathon ever run in Poland.

After a fierce battle, the fastest runner over the distance of 42.195 km during the ORLEN Warsaw Marathon proved to be Tadesse Tola (Ethiopia) with a time of 2h:06min:55s.

Thousands of runners from all over the world will set off at 9:30 am on April 13th to cover the distance of 42.195 km and 10 km during the second ORLEN Warsaw Marathon. The competitors battling it out for the top places include the bronze medal winner from the Athletics World Championships in Moscow Tadese Tola (Ethiopia), the winner of the last year's ORLEN Warsaw Marathon Sisay Lemma Kasaye (Ethiopia) and Henryk Szost (Poland) - the quickest European at the London Olympic Games.
