Grandma's Marathon registration closed the morning of December 31 after reaching the registration limit of 8,500 runners. The last time registration closed due to capacity was in 2008. This year, the race filled in only three months.

The 40th Annual Grandma's Marathon has officially opened registration for all races, including the Gary Bjorklund Half Marathon and the William A. Irvin 5K.

June seems far away right now, but we are already gearing up for next year's Grandma's Marathon events! There are a few changes this year, including registration dates. This time around, you can register for every race on the same day: October 1.

Grandmas Marathon-Duluth, Inc. announced today that registration for the 40th Grandmas Marathon Weekend, which includes Grandma's Marathon, the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon and William A. Irvin 5K, will open at midnight on October 1, 2015. This is the first time that registration for all three races will open on the same day.
